Overview

We assist clients to apply for an Order for the management of affairs of a mentally incapacitated person, which person they believe to be of unsound mind and incapable of managing themselves and their own affairs within the meaning of the Mental Health Ordinance, Cap. 136. The Court will order that a committee of the estate of the subject person be appointed with all appropriate powers to administer and manage the subject person's property and affairs.

Our professional services include:

• Legal opinion;
• Application of certificate of medical practitioners certifying that the subject person is incapable, by reason of mental incapacity, of managing and administering his own properly and affairs.
• Preparation of documentation and application to the Court.
• Obtain court order and assist in appointment of committee of the estate of the subject person, etc.
